Missing Mom

I miss Mom today. Sometimes her loss is so fresh it amazes me. I guess you never stop missing a mom.

Good morning!
I am grateful for many things this morning. I am grateful that I have the joy and priveledge of homeschooling William and Rachel. We love being together and have such a good time. Other than contracting the swine flu this week, our school year is off to a pretty good start. I am so excited about what we are going to accomplish!
I am grateful that we knew we had been exposed to the Swine Flu by the next day and were able to start treatment as soon as we began to show any symptoms. It appears that the Tamiflu is heading the Swine Flu off at the pass. Everyone is running a low grade fever, 99 to 100, but not the typical high fevers that we might have had. Our symptoms are very mild and not escalating. I think this is God's providence for us.
I have chronic bronchitis from a benign mass in my chest. If I got the full blown Swine Flu, which is particularly hard on the lungs, it could be really bad. Now I have it in a very mild form. That is much safer for me. Thank you, Lord!
I am getting more rest with the flu than I normally get. I needed an excuse for a break.
I love Bible study right now and church has been great lately. Our preacher is doing a wonderful job.
